ROAD PROJECT PHASE 1

The City of Truro is starting Phase 1 of 2 stages of a new roads project. Inroads is the company that will be in town starting Monday, May 23 and will be done by Wednesday, May 25. Their work will start on the south side of town on South Street. They will work their way north through town. Please use caution during this time and follow directions given by the crew so the work can get done effectively and the residents of Truro can have better roads. If you have questions, please call.
Madison County 911 app

Madison County is under the severe weather threat for Tuesday evening into Tuesday night. Please make sure that you have the smart 911 app downloaded to your phone https://www.smart911.com/ and stay up to date on warnings for the county. We will send out additional information this evening.

Volunteers needed for Board of Adjustment

The City of Truro is in need of 2 volunteers for the Board of Adjustment. This board only needs to meet up when there is a zoning or variance request so no monthly meetings or constant interaction. You will be provided a book of information so don't worry if you aren't familiar with zoning. This is a great opportunity to help your community! Must be a Truro resident. Public Works Department will be working on a water and sewer tap on W. Turner today 12/13/21, in which they might have to close said street. Please use an alternate route till they complete the job.

Culvert Construction

There will be culvert construction at the intersection of E. Garfield and N. Railroad. Please use alternate routes as this area will be closed. Projected time frame is 1 day.
City Hall closed
